About the event
Pickle for Progress is a community pickleball tournament benefiting Pencils For Progress, a San Antonio–based nonprofit dedicated to removing educational barriers by providing students and teachers with essential school supplies and classroom resources.
Taking place on April 12 from 4:30–8:30 PM, Pickle for Progress brings together players of all skill levels for an energetic and welcoming evening of competition, connection, and impact. Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball player or picking up a paddle for the first time, this event is designed to be fun, inclusive, and meaningful.
All proceeds from the tournament directly support Pencils For Progress programs, including school supply distributions, teacher classroom grants, and the delivery of inclusive and accessible materials that support students with disabilities. Every serve, rally, and point played helps ensure that local students and educators have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.
Beyond the courts, attendees can expect a lively atmosphere…
